Homem-Aranha no Aranhaverso foi destaque absoluto no Annie Awards de 2019, premiação que celebra as melhores produções de animação lançadas no cinema e na TV. O filme da Marvel e Sony levou todas as categorias que disputou, incluindo de Melhor Animação.
O Annie Awards é um bom termômetro na categoria de Melhor Animação do Oscar. Desde 2001, 70% dos filmes que venceram a principal categoria do Annie, levantaram depois a principal estatueta do cinema.
