A 5ª e última temporada de Jane the Virgin acaba de ganhar um reforço de peso: Sophia Bush. A atriz de Chicago PD e One Tree Hill vai fazer uma participação especial em novos episódios da comédia romântica.

O ator Justin Baldoni (Rafael), usou o Instagram para anunciar a escalação de Sophia Bush para a nova temporada da série.

“Eu não posso dizer quem ela vai interpretar, exceto que alguns de vocês não vão gostar muito”, escreveu o ator. Confira a postagem abaixo.

Sophia Bush teria sido convidada pela própria Gina Rodriguez, a protagonista da série, para participar da temporada final.

Após a quinta e última temporada, Jane the Virgin ganhará uma série derivada. O seriado terá o nome de Jane the Novela, onde cada temporada será baseada em um romance fictício escrito por Jane Villanueva.

A 5ª e última temporada de Jane the Virgin estreia na rede americana da CW em 2019, ainda sem data oficial. O derivado ainda não tem data de estreia.
